I'm using the WinNT version of MySQL (3.22.32-shareware-debug). I'm trying to use temporary tables but I can't get it to work. Can someone tell me what's wrong with the following SQL commands? CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE tmp (a INT); This one always gives me a syntax error on the line with the word TEMPORARY in it. CREATE TABLE tmp (a INT) SELECT * FROM table1; I've even tried using the same names, from table1: CREATE TABLE tmp (id INT) SELECT id FROM table1; This command work just fine: CREATE TABLE tmp (a int); -- Adam carheden@cs.colostate.edu
