Job Description
* An entry level position in the Technical Support Department of FRII is
now available.
* Provide technical support to Front Range Internet's customer base.
Tasks associated with this position include new customer software
configuration and troubleshooting problems related to software/hardware.

Requirements for the position are:
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Strong customer service skills
* Basic understanding of Windows 95/98 and/or MacOS 7.5.3 and up
* Basic understanding of:
* the Internet and how it works
* Web browsers
* Email programs
* Attention to detail
* Comfortable with multi-line telephone systems
* Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills
* Ability to speak clearly on the telephone
Experience in the following are a plus:
* Configuring TCP/IP settings
* Configuring Web, Email, News, FTP, and other client Software
* Trouble-shooting Dial-up (56k & ISDN), DSL, and other types of
connections
* Windows 95/98, Windows NT, MacOS 7.5.3 - MacOS 8.x, UNIX
* Standard Internet connection software (PPP, TCP/IP)
* LANs and how interact with WANs
* Basic understanding of telco technology
