Four hand fed normal gray baby cockatiels, $75 each. These guys were hatched about 5-6 weeks ago and are in the process of learning to eat on their own. They will most likely be ready to go to their permanent homes in 1-2 weeks. All are very friendly and sweet. They love to be held, cuddled, sit on shoulders, etc. They make great friends for kids and adults alike. A cockatiel will need a cage that is _at least_ ~18-20" long, wide and high -- the bigger the better. These birds eat pellets and fresh food (beans, veggies, people-food) only, no seeds, in the interest of a balanced, healthy diet. While birds are relatively easy to keep pets, they need lots of attention, love, exercise and a good diet. Their life span, with appropriate care, will be approximately 15-20 years. For more information or if you would like to come meet one of our little kids, call (970)224-1248 (Ft. Collins). -- Heather Bean, Indentured Student [heather@gr.hp.com] Never offend people with style when you can offend them with substance. -- Sam Brown, "The Washington Post", January 26, 1977
