He started out by posing a view of contemporary society and moved on to suggest changes and improvements to it. Unfortunately, a lot of people (the meaning-of-lifers) seem to have been completely in awe of him. Apparently this didn't happen as much in the small-group session, but there were still a lot of people who just missed his point. I liked his speech a WHOLE bunch more than Spike Lee's speech last year; I was just bored by hearing about Mr. Lee's life.
