I agree, I've met two men on here and it was okay, neither worked but 
that was for reasons of mine - I'm not interested in getting serious
and it took dating again to find that out. (I was married until 2 years
ago). I think finding friendship is a lot like courtship, just a different
emphasis. It seemed like maybe I'd meet some friends on here, and I have
gotten some response from people I think I will enjoy knowing, but mostly
I've just been told to join clubs and get 'out there'. Well, I'm a little
shy about that, I feel as if I've been trust into a whole new world I
wasn't prepared for. Guess I wanted to get 'out there' in a less 
threatening way. Does that make any sense?
