I need to set the umask for a user with a login/password and have it apply to ftp. I have tried putting a umask command in both the .bashrc and .bash_profile files and adding an upload line to /etc/ftpaccess, but neither seem to work. Help! -- Adam

As far as I know, wu-ftp doesn't allow such a thing. This is something that is currently the clients job. you can do it based upon the hostname that one is coming in from but not the login name used (unless anonymous or guest). Perhaps look into somethign outside of wu-ftp if this can't be done for some reason. -- Mike Grandin
