lesstif or mouse

So I installed SuSE 6.2, but I couldn't get the mouse to work under X.
It behaves erratically. I've seen the problem before using the PS/2
IntelliMouse driver under Red Had with a PS/2 IntelliMouse, but in SuSE,
it happened with the regular PS/2 driver and the generic Microsoft mouse
driver as well.

So I said fuck SuSE and tried RH6.0. Mouse works fine, but for some
reason Xemacs isn't installed and I can't find the RPM anywhere on the
CD. Those bastards. What's worse, when I try to install lesstif, which
is needed by xmcd, rpm goes into D (uninteruptable) mode and sits there
until I kill it. I've tried two version (0.86 and 0.88) of the lesstif
rpm with the same results. 0.86 works fine on RH5.2.

Any suggestions? I think it's time to go back to Debian.

I had the same problem with Suse 6.2 ... Did u use Xf86Config or Sax ..
I guess its a problem with Sax xoz it worked fine with Xf86config ...
U can also use Sax, but U'LL HAVE TO CONFIGURE MOUSE IN TEXT MODE (OBVI) AND LET IT BE THAT WAY .. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONFIGURE MOUSE THRU SAX ..
This worked for me ...
But I guess its too late ..

I used xf86Config, I've never heard of Sax. Are you still running SuSE
6.2? If so, can you send me a copy of your XF86Config file? What mouse
are you using?

And for everyone, has anyone gotten the PS/2 Intellimouse working on
Linux (including wheel!?!)
