but hey, this is where all the cool kids hang out so
what the heck...  shot in the dark here, does csu vet hospital
examine pets for free?  i have a "growth" on one of my rats...

How the %$&% should I know?!  This is a LINUX group!!  :)
I don't know if it is /free/. but I think it is cheaper. <shrug>

There appears to be a bit of information at
www.cvmbs.colostate.edu/vth/
in particular, because of the state's "Fair Competition" rules,
the Vets must charge something similar to local vets.

They may do an exam, though -- and only charge you for procedures,
like lab work or (eek!) surgery...
