Good sockets (tcp/ip) prog. books (c/c++)?

I'm looking for some good books that describe and examplify the unix
sockets API. Books that take an object oriented approach are desired,
but not a necessity. I need something that will explain how they
work, as well as how to work with them.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated... thanks.
