I have managed to get my hands on a few of the following systems...

Asus Book PC mini computers, they are extremely high quality. Asus P2B-N
motherboard, and Asus case and power supply (Elan Vital, Asus' case
subsidary).

these are the specs:
-Small Foot-Print 85mmx279.5mmx345mm (very small)
-slot 1, 100 MHz bus - supports all Celerons, all P2's, and all 100MHz P3's
(800 MHz is the fastest now)
-on-board Intel 10/100 mb/s ethernet
-on-board ESS Solo-1 sound card
-on-board ATI Rage IIc 4 meg graphics
-CD-ROM drive (not sure what speed)
-floppy
-all the standard ports (parallel, serial, PS/2)
and the best for last:
-1 ISA, 2 PCI slots
-IR port on front of computer
-2 USB ports on front of computer

VERY high quality brand new systems-- much, much higher quality than the PC
Chips Book PC's that have been around recently.
Also, this has got to be about the only book PC sized machine that is
upgradable-- up to, well, any size IDE hard drive, up to 512 megs RAM, up to
P3 800, plus add-on cards- modems, SCSI cards, video capture, etc, etc.
Another bonus is that the case and board are mini-NLX form factor, the new
standard for small computers, so motherboards will be available to upgrade
in the next little while.

All in all, outstanding machines, and I don't expect them to last very long.

$250 Canadian FIRM - NO NEGOTIATION

shipping paid by buyer.

here is a link to the specs for the machine on the Asus site:

and, for the motherboard:

If CPU's or had drives are required, I have new Celeron 366's for $70
Canadian FIRM,
and new Fujitsu 4.3 gig hard drives for $75 Canadian FIRM

take-home warranty on the system ONLY - I will guarantee that you get a
brand new, working system, other than that there is no warranty. This is
the main reason I am able to sell the systems this low. Standard warranty
on CPU's and hard drives.

I am not a retailer, so no taxes will be added to the $250.

I am located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
