Computer architecture seminar available on MBONE?

Provided there is sufficient interest, the computer architecture
reading seminar being offered this semester (nominally under the "CSCI
7111" class designation) will be offered over the MBONE (multicast
back-bone) if there is sufficient interest.

This would allow participants who find it difficult to meet at the
University of Colorado to participate in the twice-weekly discussions
on current topics in computer architecture design. We would use a
voice & video broadcast, with a white-board and audio
input. Participants will need to have sufficient network bandwidth,
and be willing to dink-around with the MBONE tools (not too hard, to
be honest).

We will also attempt to use this facility to engage participants from
remote locations (including Digital, IBM and Sun), but no promises.

If you're interested in this possibility, let me know promptly so I
can arrange for the proper facilities. Thanks.
