Help! Automount behaving oddly

I have a DecStation 5000/133 running Ultrix 4.3

A number of directories, including the home directories, are mounted
via automount.

Until today, the /login directory mounted correctly. I have checked
the exports file on the server; have done 'exportfs -v' and found
the name of the workstation; have done 'showmount -a' and again
found evidence that the /login directory should be accessible.

ypcat auto.direct still shows the entry for /login

I have rebooted the machine.

Other automounted directories are loading correctly.

Yet, this directory will no longer automount on this machine. ( other machines
are still mounting it properly )

Any clues would be most welcome.
