We have recently moved our YP server from a DEC ULTRIX system to an
OSF system. Since that time, whenever anyone attempts to change
their passwd, it does not update the yp maps. The source
location for the yp passwd file does get updated immediately, but
the "make" never gets initiated, until someone manually enters the
"make passwd" command.
1. Has anyone experienced a problem similar to this on OSF?
Additional info:
# uname -a
OSF1 osf_system1 V3.2 214 alpha
# file /usr/sbin/rpc.yppasswdd
/usr/sbin/rpc.yppasswdd: COFF format alpha dynamically linked, demand paged executable or object module stripped - version 3.11-8
Thanks in advance
