We have bought an HP560C to attach to an AlphaStation 200 running OSF/1 =
V3.0.
It wouldn't work with a bare bones printcap and evenatually, myself and =
DEC worked out that we had to tell lprsetup that that the printer we =
were attaching was an la75 printer.
Now it prints text fine but won't print postscript, dvi or print dumps =
(created using
ghostscript). It prints a text error message that says something like =
printer encountered an incorrect code or something like that. So I =
guess that the filters for the la75 printer don't quite match for an =
HP560C. So I guess I'm after filters written specifically for an =
HP560C. Does anyone have them?
Many thanks.=20
