A 3rd party reseller is sending me the 33mhz cpu upgrade for my DS5000/125. (It only cost me $100) I don't think I'll need to modify the kernel or system files, but I thought I would check the cumulative wisdom of this list first. Aside from installing the new cpu daughter card, will I need to do anything else to the system (i.e. kernel config mods or other system mods)? I suspenct that I do not given that: cpu "DS5000_100" appears in the config file. Thanks for any pointers. -- **************************************************************************** * Ed Jones -- ???????????? | ejones@sdl.psych.wright.edu * * Signal Detection Lab | ejones@desire.wright.edu * * Department of Psychology | ejones@wsu (Bitnet) * * ------------------------------------------------------------------------ * * Ed Jones -- Graduate Student | This is your world in which we * * Department of Economics | grow, and we will grow to hate you * * Wright State University | * ****************************************************************************
