Hi again folks,

Let me expand further... I have a DECstations 5000/240 on which
I have attached the RWZ52-FA as a SCSI device. On this DEC, SCSI ID ZERO
is the system disk (an RZ58), SCSI ID ONE is the RWZ52, and SCSI ID FIVE
is a floppy drive.

At the > prompt, I can see all 3 devices with 'cnfg 3' command.

A look at uerf after booting up, does not show the RWZ52.

When I try and mount a disk previously formatted, I get a flash
of the light on the RWZ52 and then :
ufs_mount: /dev/rz1c on /mnt2: No such device or address

So it sees the drive (to wit the flash) but doesn't mount.
chpt -q on the disk gives the same answer.

Yes I went into /dev and did a MAKEDEV.
Yes the directory /mnt2 exists.
Yes I was logged in as root.

I would like a disktab entry for this device, but am under the impression
I have other hurdles to jump before I get that far.

Thanks for ANY help in this matter.
