Queers in the Park meet this Sunday June 9 for a potluck lunch kickoff to
the 1996 season. 

Queers in the Park offers an informal gathering place for Gay, Lesbian,
Bisexual and Transgendered persons.  Come, cavort, frolic play frisbee and
talk about the latest trends, theories and gossip in our queer community and
enjoy a Sunday in Boulder's delightfully lovely Chautauqua Park.  Chautauqua
Park is located at Ninth Street south of Baseline Road. This Sunday, we meet
at approximately 11:00 A.M. on the northeast corner of the grassy lawn, an
area defined by the roadway loop through the park.  Look for the rainbow
flag which indicates our location most clearly.  

Please bring with you items to make your stay more comfortable such as a
blanket and some water.  And this Sunday, please bring a dish to share.
We'll be there until two pm.
