We have posted this request before and have received over 200 responses -- but we still need 200 more to make this a legitimate survey. Michael J. Borer, M.D., F.A.C.S. is conducting a survey via the WWW of nearsighted residents of the United States who have not had a refractive procedure on their eyes. The purpose of the survey is to determine what interest, if any, there will be in the laser, which will be approved in the near future by the FDA for the treatment of nearsightedness, and/or in Radial Keratotomy. The American College of Refractive and Cataract Surgeons is very interested in the results of Dr. Borer's survey and would like to publish it this summer. A nominal fee will be paid to the first 500 nearsighted US residents who respond and Dr. Borer will also offer a free ophthalmic consultation on his 800 telephone number to any who answer his survey. For more details, please visit the Home Page of: Refractive Centres of California http://www.cts.com/browse/mkahuna/survey.html ** Unfortunately, we do not have an e-mail version of the survey at this time.
