Oh oh! You don't want to have to walk all the way arond the stadium! Where are you palnning on parking, on Colorado ave in front of the stadium? You're going to have to walk anyway, so whats another 93 yards? You won't have any problems sitting in the freshman section, thats why they call it General Admission... There is no real reason for the gate people to not allow you to enter at the GA gate, but rules are rules, and these minimum wage people know how to tie their shoes and obey. There job does not require for them to think. If you get a half smart kid, he would probably let you in. However, since the GA gates are where the students come in, it is a zoooooooooo. And seeing how much trouble you hae walking all the way across the stadium, you would be miffed at the cattle car appearance and feel of being squished by piss-drunk freshmen at their first football game. So, I think that you should enter via the entrance that your ticket designates, I think you will be in the se corner of the stadium, all of a haof stone throw from the GA section.
