Hi there, I am doing an informal study of melody recognition. For this purpose, I have set up a WWW experiment, in which you are asked to recognize melodies. However, for the study to succeed, I need the help of many participants. The experiment will take you just a few minutes, and, I think IT IS FUN! So, if you are interested, please take a look at the following URL: http://kuaile.cs.colorado.edu:8020/ The experiment contains some sound files, so, your Web surfing tool should be able to play sound files (.au-files) and understand the FORMS interface. Most of the versions of Mosaic and Netscape should be able to do this. I tested it with Netscape on a Macintosh, and with Mosaic on a Sun Sparcstation 1. If you have any comments or suggestions, please send them to wickel@cs.colorado.edu. I appreciate your time. Many thanks in advance, Jochen
