                  For sale: 1989 Ford Probe GT

This is the high end Probe with the turbo engine. It's quite fast,
especially passing. The guts of the car were essentially built by Mazda.
Purchased in September of 1989 and have had absolutely no complaints with
the car.

24,000 miles. Midnight Garnet, gray interior. A/C, power windows & locks.
Rear defroster, interval wiper, tach, four speaker AM/FM cassette, tilt
steering wheel, electric mirrors. Brand new front tires. Gets over 30 mpg
highway. I'm 6-4 tall and this was one of the few sports cars that fit me.

$9000 obo (purchase price with options, tax, etc. came to about $18K).

Make no mistake, I absolutely love this car. However, the practical realities
of owning a house that requires a constant stream of large construction
items have forced me to replace the Probe with a Ford pickup truck :-(.
Also, getting the baby seat in and out of a two door car was starting to
bug my wife.
