        University of Colorado President Judith Albino today announced that
she will not seek reappointment as the President of the university at the
end of her term which runs through August 1996.
        In making the announcement, Albino said, "For me, personally, this
is the right decision at the right time."
        Albino also said, "Over the course of the next year, I intend to
focus my efforts on unifying our university community, and upon continuing
to build a university whose research, service and teaching are second to
none."
        The Board accepted Albino's decision not to seek reappointment.
