I am desperate to place a year old greyhound mix
male puppy in a good home with a loving family.

I rescued this young dog from the shelter and
brought him home hoping he would provide
companionship to our German Shepherd.  The rescue dog, named Sneaky
Pete, has been a dream.  He is
very sweet and has been fairly easy to train.  The
problem is, despite all my efforts and strategies,  
our Shepherd is constantly picking fights.  What
began as a few snips here and there, has escalated
to a point where I have to keep both of them
separate at all times.  They can't even play together
without a fight breaking out.  
Each dog, by himself, is a great pet.
The both of them, together, are making my life a stressful
nightmare.

Pete is great with children, very
affectionate and gentle. He is
interested in cats, but non-aggressive towards them.
He is a hearty eater, not particular or finicky in
the least.  Pete seems to be in good health.
He has learned in the short time I have had him to
sit, lay down, stay (for short periods, needs work),
to come, and to wait.
With practive, Pete will learn to walk well on a leash.

This little boy deserves a loving home where he
isn't constantly under attack.  He currently sleeps
next to my bed, happy as can be with a
soft cushion in a warm place.
I will screen anyone who is interested in him.
He is my responsibility and I will stop at nothing
to ensure he is happy, well cared for, and loved.

Do not flame me for having to give away a pet.  It
has been a really awful decision to make.
