Are you looking for a room to rent, starting in November (rooms also
available in January)?

Our house, on 1045 12th street, is a cooperative--we cook meals together
five nights a week, we have picnics and parties together, we share
food costs and chores, we recycle and compost, etc. It's a nice big
house (11 personal rooms, two bathrooms, living room, basement with
washer & dryer, kitchen & 3 refrigerators, front porch, living room.)
We cook some really good meals: recent dishes included spannakopita,
Indian curry, home-made pizza, Cuban black bean chile, etc. We get
free bread from Wild Oats & food from Two Bitts (housemates work there.)
About half of us are students; the male-female ratio is about 1:1;
we range in age from 19 to 31.

If you're interested, call me or Jen at 545-5521. Stop by for dinner
sometime. Rent is $340/month and food is $85/month.
