[ People, multi-level marketing schemes (read pyramid schemes) don't make

They are pyramid schemes EVEN if they have something to sell or gain. Do you
ask "lower" sellers to pay you arbitrary fees (for being allowed to sell
or just for some puny benefit?) and you pay some "upwards"? Is your
whole "profit" fought by that arbitrary fee you yourself must pay?

Does most of the money seem to go in this up-down line instead of going
off to buy you that cute little "product" you pay for every month.

Its a pyramid scheme (no matter what includes you in the club) if it
takes more gambling up-and-down than for paying for the "product".

[At any rate, the previous posting was obviously an advertisement for someone'
[ business, and thus an illegitimate use of USENET.

Amen.
