The Rocky Mountain Rescue Group, Boulder County's
mountain rescue team, is looking for new members
who wish to volunteer their time and energy in
assisting people injured or lost in Colorado's
backcountry. RMR receives about 150 calls for
assistance each year, ranging from fallen climbers
in Eldorado Canyon to lost parties around Brainard
Lake. RMR also assists rescue teams in other counties
throughout Colorado as needed. Experience in
mountaineering and climbing is desired but not required
for membership, only a dedication to helping people
safely enjoy the outdoors.

RMRG is an all-volunteer organization that does not
charge for its rescue services.

An introductory meeting for those interested in becoming
volunteer members will be held Wednesday, September 2nd
at 7:30 PM in Hellems 201 on the CU Boulder Campus.
