Dear LINGs,

On 12/31/99, I will conduct the Y2K walkthrough of the department to make
sure all electrical equipment is turned off and unplugged from the ethernet
and wall.  The University requests that all equipment not be plugged back
in until Tuesday, 1/4/2000.  I will do this in the morning in hopes of
having everything shut down by noon as requested.
