Beware of E-MAIL SCAMS!

If you get sucked into answering one of these ads, you might want to
do what I did.

--------------------------------------------
"Do not put my name on any "list of leads". This correspondence will
be archived for future reference. In the event that you or
***********, sell my name to anyone, you will be violating my privacy
and agree to pay me damages of $100,000.

Your use of my name and e-mail address will mean that you accept these
terms and agree to pay that amount.

I will also be advising your ISP, the State Attorney General's Office,
and the FBI Computer Crime Squad of your activities."

The following is from e-mail sent to me after answering one of theses
ads..

/////////////////////////////////////////

We are an international company based in Houston, Texas. Anyone can
work for us, regardless of where you live in the world. If you have a
computer, access to the internet, and an email program, then you have
everything you need to succeed in our company.

We are called *****************, and we are one of the first
companies to truly take advantage of the extraordinary growth of the
internet. Everyday, thousands of people discover the internet for the
first time, and that number will be growing for years to come, without
question.

---------- snip ----------------------------

This ever-increasing volume of people on the internet is what has made
the internet a virtually endless market. Every hour, more and more
people like yourself are looking for ways to make their computers make
them money.

And this is the reason for the incomparable success our company has
enjoyed in its first few months. That is why we are able to offer this
opportunity for you to work for us in the comforts of your own home.

------------ snip ---------------------------

We have one product. It is business leads... quality business leads.

***'s business leads are names of people who are looking to get into
an
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
exciting home business, like yourself. *** has an inexhaustible supply

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
of current leads, because they are constantly advertising in over 4000
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
publications nation-wide. The ads are generic "start your own home
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
business", "work at home" type of ads. People respond to these ads and
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
contact ADC requesting more information about starting their own home
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
business. These are the leads *** sells to its representatives.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

What exactly will you be doing?

Well, first of all, in order to work for ADC, you will have to
purchase the leads yourself for $100. You will make this back in a
matter of days. One sale brings you $80. 2 sales... $160. I made four
sales in my first week.

#1. Once you have purchased your leads, you are then a representative
for ***, and can market *** as a business in itself, seeking to get
others to market *** as a business opportunity, what I am doing. So,
you will invite others to purchase these leads at $100, and you'll
make $80 for each person you enroll. Now, the people you enroll can
either market *** as a business, or use the leads to market another
business of their own.

#2. You will place free ads in newsgroups and on the web itself, ads
similar to the one you responded to. I will tell you exactly where and
how to do this.

#3. People will respond to these ads, seeking more information. You
will then send them a letter similar to this letter, but personalized.
In that letter you will do what I am doing... introducing *** as a
lucrative, home business opportunity. In essence, they will be
purchasing 500 business leads from *** for $100. In addition, they
will then be an authorized representative of ***.

#4. Many of these people will then write you back with questions
about
***. You simply correspond with them through email, like we are doing.

#5. Once the person decides to buy the leads for $100, that person is
a
representative for ****************. They are then authorized
to go out there and market *** to others, be it on the internet, or to
those on the list of 500 names, or to anyone interested. You have just
"sponsored" this person, and will receive the $80 commission bonus.

This is Multi-Level Marketing (MLM). The ********************** is
completely legitimate, as well as its structure. This is not a
pyramid scheme, and should never be associated with one. Pyramid
schemes do not have a product to sell, we do. In fact, *************
Airlines issues flyer miles for each business lead sale that you make!
You can be assured that a legal team of experts at AA reviewed this
issue before teaming up with the ************************.

----------------- snip ----------------------

So, how do I have 1000 email leads a month? When you start advertising
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

in the newsgroups and on the web, (all free advertising), you will
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
immediately start receiving about 40 emails a day asking you for more
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
information about a home business opportunity. That's about 280 a
week,
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
and that's over 1000 email leads a month. Seriously. It's easy. And
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
it's fun. And there is NO shortage of people out there on the internet
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
to whom you can market *** to. Each day, thousands of people begin
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
their own search in newsgroups and on the web itself for ways to make
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
money using the internet. The market is endless.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
--------------------- snip ------------------

I seriously believe in this business; it is completely legitimate,
completely honest, completely legal, and very exciting and fun to
work. And needless to say, it has rewarded me greatly where I need it
most.My wallet!

Best Wishes,

KT
