No argument there. I simply think that previous and current partners
should be informed if someone tests positive. With the latency of
symptoms, I think that might do a great deal to dampen the velocity of the
disease through the population for those partners with a shred of ethics.

Note my use of the word "fortunately". I suspect we agree on this point.
