However, it's often couples where HIV is involved that need the very 
protections same-sex marriage offers (hospital/deathbed visitation, 
deciding what to do with the body, sound wills, joint property ownership, 
spousal coverage on insurance...).

We can't even enforce the criminality of non-CONSENSUAL sex.  How the 
heck are we supposed to enforce consensual, unmarried sex?  Bedroom 
police?  Pah.  <spits>

At least unmarried homosexual sex doesn't result in single mothers on 
welfare with no educational or employment prospects.

Let's take government out of the boardrooms and into the bedrooms?  Not 
while *I'm* still alive and kicking.
