Thought I'd recommend this bbs to anyone that likes to use them. I enjoy
it. Below is the citation copied out of the Hahn's 'The Internet Yellow
Pages'.

ISCA BBS

The largest and most popular BBS on the Internet (and the largest
non-profit BBS in the world). There are discussion groups to satisfy all
tastes, especially groups of a more esoteric nature that seem to be
lacking on Usenet. ISCA is often full(not so much in the summer though),
with users from all over the globe busy rambling away. (A valid email
address is required.)

Telnet: whip.isca.uiowa.edu or bbs.isca.uiowa.edu

Login as: guest - to just look around
Login as: new - to get your own account and enjoy full access (it's free)

Happy ISCA-ering!
