                        AWARENESS WEEK -- APRIL 11-15, 1994
                    GREELEY GAY, LESBIAN, AND BISEXUAL ALLIANCE
                                 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
         
         Monday:  Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual Panel:
              Members of the Alliance will be present to discuss issues in
              a question and answer format
              8:00 PM in Lawrenson Hall
         
         Tuesday:  Gay, Lesban, Bisexual Issues in K-12 Education
              Three educators in K-12 education will present information
              and will relate their experiences to issues in the classroom
              7:30 PM in Aspen A,B,C at the University Center
         
         Wednesday:  Movie -- The Wedding Banquet
              When you're gay and fear your parents' disapproval, it's hard
              to be yourself.  This delightful comedy about a couple in New
              York City -- one American, one Chinese -- charts the
              difficult course of coming out and the mistakes one can make
              along the way.  A marriage of convenience result in major
              deception at the reception.  The results are hilarious and
              offer important lessons for people of any sexuality.
              7:00 and 9:15 PM in Lindou Auditorium (Michener Library)
                   Sponsored by Student Honors Council
                   Admission is $2 for students, $3 for non-students, and
                   free for children under 12
         
         Thursday:  Movie -- Claire of the Moon
              A movie where women find each other and in the process
              discover a new path to themselves
              7:00 PM in Aspen A,B,C in the University Center (Discussion
              on Gays and Lesbians in film will follow)
         
         
         Friday:  "Community" Pot luck and Picnic

                   Afternoon and Evening Event
         
         During the week, there will be a table with books, freedom rings, 
         bumper stickers, etc. in the University Center Mall.  At this 
         table there will be Awareness Week t-shirts for sale ($13)
         
         On Monday and Wednesday from 11 AM - 1 PM in the University Center 
         there will be presentations of Gays, Lesbians and Bisexuals in 
         Literature.  Presentations will take place on the platform at the 
         center of the University Center Mall.
