I started by converting 385 ft to meters.
385(30.48 cm/ft)((1m/100cm) = 117.3 m
find Vi:
Vi = sqare root (Rg/sin2theta) = sqare root of (117)(9.8)/sin54
degrees) = 37.7 m/s
Find Height
H = Vi^2Sin^2theta/2g
=[ (37.7 m/s)(0.4539)^2]/2(9.8) = 14.9m
I wish there were a way to write math better here, subscripts and
greek letters.
