I was hoping that as Apple moves towards using Intel processors, and Intel moves towards a 64bit architecture, which Open Genera had in mind years ago, the overall effect was that Genera (so was victimized for being too advanced for it's day) might be more acceptable, having waited for half a decade for the world mind to catch up. If a thrust to develope a next generation GUI toolbox (way beyond CLIM, ie. something visually sexy) for this Lisp Machine architecture were started now, we'd be ready for a second coming by 2005. Otherwise, how does one evoke a full GC of one's mental computing legacy.
