Did you install the MacIvory software?  It has some keyboard resources
that need to go into the system file, I believe.  Which version of MacOS?

    Also, you can't switch keyboards on the fly with the Symbolics keyboard
    or use two keyboards (say, a builtin PowerBook keyboard and the external
    Symbolics keyboard) at the same time.

    Sigh!!!! Imagine a MacIvory in a Nubus PowerPC Mac with a
    G3 upgrade card. Better yet a new faster Ivory in a G3 Mac.
