What kind of Ethernet board is it? Date: Fri, 16 May 1997 17:14:18 +0000 From: Peter Paine <pp@enterprise.net> Still foxed by the Ethernet access from MacIvory III. Presumably doing something obviously stupid. All was well under MacOS 7.5.3 with OpenTransport 1.1 Now totally virgin disk format, MacOS 7.6.1 clean install, OpenTransport 1.1.2, AppleTalk on Printer Port, Ethernet hardware untouched, ... Network initialization always fails when running processes for Finder and Ivory only. Any clues? Documentation pointers perhaps (I cannot find a mention in DocEx). Is there a way to interrogate Ethernet from the Mac to see what's up?
