I recall during the halcyon years of LISP (i.e. the 1980s) there was a text considered exceptional for introducing LISP to non-LISP programmers (specifically in this case, a client who is a C++ expert who I am trying to convert to a LISP prototyper). The text was written by a woman who often gave tutorials at national conferences. CLOS is part of what is needed, but that can be a separate text if needed. Can anyone help with a name and/or ref "known to be good"? Scanning web pages for LISP tutorials raises more than the average number of "URL not found on this server...." thanks -Pan
