Dear Sirs:
Around the mid 1980's, Symbolic Lisp Machine had a proprietary hypertext
system which was a documentation browser. It could access indexed
information which could reside on a remote server. There was a manual
that explained all this in detail.
Do you know of such a manual and if so, how can I obtain one.
The documentation development system is called Concordia, and yes there was
a hardcopy manual describing it (as well as parts of other manuals describing
how to use the Document Examiner, the part of the system which allowed
inspection of the documentation).
Unfortuately, Symbolics doesn't have hardcopy versions of these manuals
available any more. The full text of all the manuals is available
on-line with a Symbolics system (currently available as Open Genera 2.0
running on DEC Alpha under Digital Unix).
On my list of things to do is to make this documentation available on the
Web, but I haven't done so yet.
Maybe someone on this list has an old copy that they'd be willing to part
with.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
L.Franco
