I am sorry I didn't get back to you after last March. The tone that your
read into my message was correct at that time. As fate would have it, I
was able to negotiate a deal with the new owners last June for me to run
the maintenance business for them. I also sell Open Genera for them. I
did call Shannon Coffey last Aug. to check on your Symbolics machines and
let him know we still had a maintenance capability.

As it stands today, we still have a facility in Chatsworth, CA that is
capable of testing and repairing all of Symbolics' product line down to the
component level. A few of the former employees come in on a part-time basis
to effect the repairs. We have a stock of good spare parts and some
refurbished product in both Chatsworth, CA and Burke, VA. We still have a
number of customers on contract maintenance and do time and materials
repairs as requried. The Chatsworth 800 # is no longer in existence, but I
can be reached by E-mail or my phone number in Burke.

Any announcements outside the realm of maintenance will come from Boston.
