    Hi,

it is possible to draw in color on the MacIvory.
But redrawing happens in b&w. Seems like
the bitmaps storing the contents are 1 bit deep.

The output history for the main screen assumes bitmaps.
The hack for allowing drawing in color was done without
coordinating with the DW maintainer. I once patched
DW to remember the color in its output records, if you
want I can try to dig up that old patch.

I read that it is possible to change that.
I'd need to create a new Genera application.
But I'd also need to load a special system:
    ivory-color-support (according to the docs).
I can't find this system, where is it?

My recollection was that it was superseded in about 8.1.
If you have a world with the color system loaded into it,
I believe that everything should work (though I haven't
tried it lately). You will have to configure your macivory
application (usually called genera) to start up a deep
screen.
