Does anyone here have any experience with purchasing product liability 
insurance for software? in general?

One of the conditions of licensing a piece of software for my department, 
is the vendor's insistence upon us purchasing product liability insurance 
for the software that will cover further development by us as well as 
covering them.  

Does the university have any?  Who would know, the university counsel?
