Is it just me or does it seem like the administration does things despite the student body and not for it? I guess I have been thinking about this for a while, but something now just forced me to post this message. I just received an email from the new campus dining service describing all the events they are going to have. It seems like they are exactly like the old events of the previous dining service! How many ice your own cupcake nights do you remember having? Also, what is it about "the most powerful learning environment in the world?" Where did they get that from? To me, that sounds more than a little ridiculous. Do you think there is anyway we, the students of CWRU, could form some kind of student group that could advise the administration and let them know what we are thinking? There are so many controversial issues from the pet ban to North Side parking this year to the new logo. I, for one, would like fixed tuition rates depending on your entrance date like the medical school. That way, CWRU wouldn't blow ridiculous amounts of money on snap decisions. (Again, the new logo, why not not have a contest with a $1000 prize. That way, a student could design it and it would only cost $1000) Do you have any ideas on how we could do this? Maybe Peter B. Lewis was write to criticize CWRU administration.
