God rest ye, Punxsutawney Phil,
Let nothing you dismay.
The next six weeks of heat or cold
Foretold on Groundhog Day.
So quit thy hole and bare thy soul
And lead us not astray.
Oh tidings of winter and spring,
Winter and spring,
Oh tidings of winter and spring.

    -- Rich Drushel (2004)

Out of a hole on a Pennsylvania hill
Up jumps Punxsutawney Phil.
Tell us what weather March will bring:
Will it be winter or be spring?
Ho ho ho, soon we will know.
Ho ho ho, soon we will know.
We to the groundhog listen still.
Hooray for Punxsutawney Phil.

    -- Joan Drushel (2004)
