For what company does Dilbert work?

Juanita (my wife) and I were reading this week's Dilbert about the missing Q
on the keyboard. We started discussing for what company does he work. From
the keyboard outlay, I thought it might be Microsoft.

Yet, Juanita pointed out the management response seems more like Intel. If
it was Microsoft, the line would be very different. Microsoft would simply
redefine the standards to say the Q was no longer necessary. After all the
telephone doesn't have a Q, why should the romance languages or keyboards?
Also this would help with planned obsolesce.

While I can't fault her reasoning on why it isn't Microsoft, it still leaves
the question. What do you think? For what company does Dilbert work?
Intel, Microsoft, or another company? I guess it is another company.

I believe he was outed as working for US West. BTW, he has said that
people come up to him at events, and are convinced he must work for
whatever big company they work for.
