Hey,..i don't think anyone's forgetting anything. But the fact still
remains that the good old US of A has armed a lot of people who are now
their enemies.

In a sense, i can see their reasoning with some of the past mistakes becuase
of the world was in a totally different mode of thinking at the time. The
Soviets were the boogyman and any enemy of the Soviets were friends of the
States. Only natural i guess.

I'm been wondering for a while now why the US didn't get more vocal about
the Taleban rule a few years back. I mean,.they say they're a beacon of
freedom and i do think they do some good work. But they knew the Taleban
were freaks but didn't do a damn thing. And the fact that their good friend
the Saudis were only one of 3 countries to recognize the Taleban is even
stranger. This is all kind of off on a tangent here, but i just don't know
why they didn't do more to shut down the Taleban. Or at least say to the
Saudi (a bunch of whom flew 2 planes into the WTC), hey,..we don't agree
with you people supporting such a group of wingnuts. Because if i ever saw
a group that had no right to rule a country, it was the Taleban.
