Saturday's Dr Gridlock column [
http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/can-cyclists-drivers-safely-share-a-parkway-national-park-service-says-no/2011/08/18/gIQABMXCIK_story.html
] leads with a cyclist's letter protesting the National Park Service's
recent ban on bicycling on the George Washington Memorial Parkway
south of Alexandria, followed by Dr. Gridlock's reply.

Please weigh in now to counter the several misinformed anti-cyclist
comments in the comment section.

Thanks,

Allen Muchnick
