Subject: Friends of the W&OD Trail Annual Meeting

All members of the Friends of the W&OD Trail are invited to attend the
Annual Meeting and Picnic this Sunday, April 16 at noon at Trailside
Park in Herndon.

Trailside Park is, of course, beside the W&OD Trail at mile 21 and is
near the Herndon Golf Course.  Turn off the trail onto the golf cart
path (a left turn if you are heading west on the trail) and take the
small path to your right.  This will take you to the park.

By road, take the Herndon Parkway to North on Crestview to an immediate
right into Trailside Park.  Watch for the FOWOD signs.  Call
703/729-0596 for more details.

We will have a short business meeting, and an introduction of the
Friend's Board of Directors, the W&OD trail staff and nominees for the
board.  There will be a picnic lunch and a chance to catch up on Trail
news and Friends activities.

The weather looks good for Sunday so we hope to see you there.
