Barbara Nelson of the Virginia Trails Association gave me an update today. The ride will leave North Carolina later than she had previously expected and should reach Northern Virginia on Tuesday, April 18. In addition, she is looking for one or more bicyclists to transport the water (in a fanny pack, no sipping please) from the Manassas area to Mount Vernon, Alexandria, or perhaps Woodbridge. I have no further information. If you are free to ride any of this route on April 18, please contact Bruce or Barbara.
