In response to Mr. XYZ, who said

Whereupon he enumerates said classes. Mr. XYZ, you miss
my personal favorite: People passing bikes with child trailers in
tow, who zoom by silently with no warning. When I ride with the
30-lb sail, I need a LOT more time to react, and have my attention
split more ways than when I'm biking alone. Isn't there a rule for the
Mt. Vernon trail that cyclists must give audible warning when they
pass? It's MOST dangerous when I am getting ready to pass a
slower moving cyclist ahead of me. Yes, even the ants might want to
pass the snails, but we need more lead time. If you can't be patient,
maybe there's someplace else you need to be riding than the Mt.
Vernon trail. Either that, or decaffinate. Thank you.
