Cycling in Baltimore City

All-

I've just moved into downtown Baltimore and since there's not a balt.biking
newsgroup I thought I'd ask here. Is there anyone with experience riding
around Baltimore City? I live near the Inner Harbor, and I am not afraid of
city riding at all.

However, I was wondering if anyone had experience with fun/interesting
routes both within Baltimore and getting into and out of the city on bike on
decent and safe roads.

I have a philosophical problem with loading my bike into the car to go for a
ride. It just doesn't seem right to me at all.

Thanks for the help.

Paul
